This PhD research focuses on the role mobile technology and ‘technologically enhanced adaptation methods and software’ (TEAMS) are playing in the lives of refugees in Germany. Questions related to how these technologies are helping asylum-seekers to better navigate in their new lives within Germany as well as learn new skills and cultural adaptations to assit with their long-term aspirations within the country.
